After Hours Urgent Medical Needs
If you have an urgent medical need and need to talk to our doctors after our regular hours, please call Total Family Healthcare at (352) 394-4237. A doctor is on-call 24 hours a day. Your call will be returned as soon as possible. Prescription refills are not given by our doctors during non-business hours. If you need a prescription refill please use our PATIENT PORTAL or call our office during business hours at (352) 394-4237.

Insurance & Patient Payments
At Total Family Healthcare, we accept a number of insurance plans. Please contact your insurance company to verify your plan benefits or you may call our office at (352) 394-4237 to find out if we accept your insurance plan. If your insurance plan requires you to pay a co-payment, co-insurance, and/or a deductible, these fees will be collected at the time of your visit. For your convenience we accept cash, Visa and MasterCard.
Prescription refills for established patients of Total Family Healthcare are routinely issued during our regular office hours (see above). You may request a refill using our PATIENT PORTAL or by calling Total Family Healthcare at (352) 394-4237 during business hours. Prescription refill request are normally processed within 2 business days. It is very important to anticipate your refill needs to avoid an interruption in your medication therapy.
