He earned his medical degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa, beginning a long and rewarding career focused on providing dependable, high-quality care. Dr. Gokal has spent much of his career working in hospital settings, where he cared for patients during some of their most critical moments. A graduate of the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) - Virginia Campus, Dr. Duplain completed his residency at HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Connecticut, earned her medical degree from Drexel University, and finished her residency at Tallahassee Memorial Regional Medical Center. With a strong focus on prevention and patient-centered care, she has been a leader in advancing coordinated, value-based healthcare.
Dr. Jakob has co-founded physician-led care organizations and plays an active role in improving collaboration across hospitals, long-term care facilities, and community services. Jo’el Bartley is a Board Certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with a diverse and well-rounded clinical background. She began her healthcare career at Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in interventional cardiac care and has since gained experience in areas including obstetrics, gynecology, and aesthetics.
Jo’el completed her Doctorate in Nursing at the University of Central Florida and has trained with respected organizations such as Orlando Health Primary Care and Vitas Home Hospice. She also dedicated part of her clinical training to serving veterans at the Lake Nona VA facility. Jo’el is committed to delivering attentive, individualized care while drawing on her broad experience to support patients across different stages of life.
